Colorado Senior Games 2026

The 2026 Colorado Senior Games officially kicked off today in Colorado Springs, bringing together athletes ages 50 and older from across Colorado and beyond for a weekend celebrating fitness, competition, and healthy aging.

Presented by Medicare Mentors, the Colorado Senior Games return for their second annual year as Colorado’s official State Senior Games. The event, hosted by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation and the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, runs June 5–7 and features Olympic-style competition in a variety of sports, including pickleball, swimming, tennis, track and field, golf, powerlifting, archery, bowling, racquetball, and more.

The opening day showcased the energy and enthusiasm that define the Senior Games movement. Athletes from diverse backgrounds gathered not only to compete but also to demonstrate that active lifestyles and personal achievement know no age limit. The event promotes physical fitness, social connection, and lifelong wellness while providing participants with the opportunity to challenge themselves and pursue new goals.

As Colorado’s official state-level Senior Games, the competition also serves as a qualifying event for the National Senior Games, offering athletes the opportunity to advance to national competition while representing Colorado on a larger stage.

The Colorado Senior Games continue to build momentum as one of the state’s premier active-aging events. Whether participants are seasoned competitors or trying a sport for the first time, the Games foster camaraderie, determination, and the belief that one’s best years of competition can still lie ahead.

As title sponsor, Medicare Mentors is proud to support an event that aligns with its mission of helping older adults live healthier, more active, and more fulfilling lives. The company remains committed to investing in programs and initiatives that empower Colorado seniors to stay engaged, connected, and thriving.
